Swiss Team for World Championship 2008
Cecilie Carlsson
I am 13 years old, I’ve been riding since 6 years and pony mounted games since 3 years. I’ve been 3 time champion of the Swiss championships and I’ve been 4th in the European championships in 2007. I’ve also been second in the French championships in 2008.I have never been to a world championship and never visited Australia. I’m the youngest of the team and I am really happy to participate.
Marine Dubuis
My name is Marine Dubuis, I’m 20 years old. I’ve practiced mounted games since I was 5 years. I love this sport because I like collective games, and I like active sports. Before the mounted games took all my time, I played ice-hockey and VTT downhill. I’ve been second in the Swiss championships in 2006 and 2007. I’ve participated in the”Peter Dale” Challenge. Last year I participated in the European championships in England, I hope that in Australia the weather is better…
I will go to Australia this year, because it’s a chance for me, I’ve always wanted to visit Australia and to participate in a world championships, I’m a patriot so I love wearing my country’s colours. I hope to show you that Swiss people aren’t so slow… and hope that the kangaroos don’t make me sick because I usually see cows in Switzerland!
Adeline Normand
I am 15 years old, I’ve been riding since 11 years and pony mounted games since 7 years, so I’m really a fan of ponies and pony games.I’ve been three times champions of France, one time champion of Switzerland, third in the Europe championship 2004 and second in 2006.I’m really happy to participate in a world championship and to go to Australia. 
Adrienne Schaller
My name’s is Adrienne Schaller (Mathilde’s sister), I am 18 years old. I have 6 sisters and 2 brothers. I’m the 6th! I was born in a horse… and do the mounted games since 8 years. I’ve been second in the Swiss championships with Mathilde and Marine in 2006 and 2007. We are in the same team in Switzerland. I’ve participated in the European championships in Italia in 2005 and in Switzerland 2006 and England in 2007. The last year I’ve participated in the world championship in Belgium too. I’m really happy to come to your country!
Mathilde Schaller
My name is Mathilde Schaller, I’m Adrienne’s sister. I’m 24 years old, and I’m in the 4th year of medicine university, so I don’t have a lot of time for my training and I don’t have a lot of experience in competition.I’ve been second in the Swiss championship in 2006 and so in 2007. I’ve participated in 2 international competitions for the “Peter Dale“Challenge in Europe. It’s the first time that I wear Switzerland’s colours and I’m so happy. I hope that this will be a good experience because representing your country is an honor that doesn’t happen often.
Philippe Gargallo
Coach, 49 years old , French , married , 3 children all riders in pony-games. I discovered mounted games in 1994 in France by pure fate because at this time the activity was not well known and developed here but suddenly I have been excited by the spectacular side, stroke, new and playful of the topic and there was a so friendly atmosphere .
So I have suddenly created teams in my French pony-club, the "Peillard" and I soon got good results with 22 titles of French champions for my teams in 12 years .
Then, with my Swiss friends, I have developed this activity in my adoptive country and I created rules adapted and also a championship . We have organized the European Championship at Moudon in 2006 and in the future the World Championship in 2010 at Geneva.
So I am particularly happy to present you a national Swiss team for the third time after Saumur and Brugelette .
I am very glad too to be able to discover Australia
