Scott Borland Waikato 35 years
Education:BSc (Hons) Financial Economics and Statistics Scott currently works producing young horses, and instructs in horsemanship and mounted games.
Mounted Games Achievements: Won Prince Phillip Cup 1987 Captained the Scottish team to Gold Medal in Ireland 1987 Captained British team to Silver Medal in Canada 1988.
2007/2008 Northland and Wairarapa/Wellington pairs champion. NZ Veteran Individual Champion, NZ Open Individual reserve champion, NZ Open Pairs reserve champion. 4th Australian Pairs Championship (1st of teams on borrowed mounts) Represented Scotland Show jumping/Dressage. Captain University SJ/ Dressage team. Pony Grand Prix show jumping.

David (Dee) Cherrington Northland 20 years
Studying Master Farrier at Warwickshire College.
Mounted Games Achievements:
2008: 1st place Inter counties team UK 2008,
1st place Home Internationals Team. Largest UK teams event.
2007: Reserve Champion World Individual, 1st place British Pairs & Yorkshire Pairs, 3rd place World Pairs. 1st place Welsh, Inter-counties, Southern & Spring Championships with Bedfordshire Gold team.
2006: 3rd place World Individual, Tai Tokerau Maori Sports Awards - Finalist Open Male Sportsperson of the Year 2005: Finalist World Junior Pairs Championships & 1st NZ Pairs, Sport Northland Sportsman of the Year, Tai Tokerau Maori Sports Awards Junior Male of the Year.
2004 Sport Northland Team of the Year Team Ngapuhi with Nancy Te Whata. Other: Northland Modelling competition. 1st open male. 1st most photogenic maleBOI Rugby representative.
Dee currently competes every fortnight whilst studying.

Rochelle O’Hara Wairarapa 23 years
Currently shepherding at Meadowslea Angus and Romney Stud, Fairlie, South Canterbury
2004 – Represented NZ at Australian Pairs Championships. Represented NZ at World Team Championships - Saumur, France Captain of Wellington/Wairarapa PC Team NIPC Games Champs (4th)
2005 Represented NZ at Team World Championships – Bridgend, Wales
2006 Captain of Wellington/Wairarapa PC Team NI PC Games Champs (Winners)

Geoffrey Tulett Waikato 18 years
Currently Year 13 pupil St Peters, Cambridge
2006 Junior NZPCA Trans Tasman team, Waikato Junior Individual champion. Member winning Waikato Open team NZ inter branch (club) challenge.
2007 Captain New Zealand junior winning Trans Tasman team. Represented NZ in the Australian Open pairs champs. National Junior Pairs Champion, Junior Individual champion. NI secondary schools mounted games champion (riding for St Peters)
2008 National junior individual mounted games champion, National open teams champion, 2nd National junior pairs champs, 3rd National open pairs champs.
Current Waikato Open Individual Champion. Member winning Waikato team NZPCA North island championships.
Goals: To ride for UK/Irish team, to make top 16 riders world and continue to represent NZ internationally. To achieve UE and study accounting or sound engineering.
Other: Grade 6 trumpet, guitar, Distinctions Maths & Science.

Nancy Te Whata Northland 19 years
Nancy is currently embarking on an equestrian career. Mounted Games Achievements:
2008 NZMGA Open Individuals Champion, 4th place Australian Pairs Championship (1st pair on borrowed mounts)
Summer season 2004, based in Ireland and competed in Ireland and UK.
2005, based in England and rode regularly for Bedfordshire Team in England and Wales. Team placed second in B Final Inter-counties Championships
2003 Member of NZMGA Team to World Champs Kentucky USA,
2005 World Championships in Bridgend, Wales.
2005 Finalist with Dee Cherrington in World Junior Pairs Championships in England, & Semifinalist in both World Junior Individuals and Midland Junior Individuals, both held in UK.
2005 NZ Pairs Champion with Dee Cherrington. Past NZMGA Individuals Champion in all grades, Junior, Intermediate, Senior and Open Horse of the Year.

Coach: Brenda Cross Northland
Brenda has been involved with horses all her life, and has coached mounted games since 2001.
She jointly coached the Northland Pony Club mounted games teams for three years until 2005, winning Zone Games three years consecutively.
Brenda is the vice– president of the New Zealand Mounted Games Association, and the president of the Northland branch of MGA.
She has been past Head Instructor of Northland pony club. Brenda currently is self employed as a farrier.
Two of her three sons, Dee Cherrington and Gaarryn Smith, are top level mounted games riders.

Amie Bentall Hawkes Bay 17 years (reserve)
Amie is currently in Year 13 at Havelock North High School Mounted Games Achievements:
2007 member of New Zealand Pony Club Trans Tasman winning team, Reserve
2006 Havelock North Pony Club Zone Games team member x 5, Winning Zone Games x 3. Captain 2007. 2007 Horse of the Year winning Major/Minor team
2008 Hawkes Bay team member NI Mounted Games Champs-3rd Place, 3rd Open Teams Horse of the Year

Other: Drama: Hawkes Bay Youth Theatre 4 yrs, Soccer 1st 11, Excellence Maths, Sciences, English, auditioned school choir. Studying for 4 scholarship exams 2008. Amie plans to study Medicine.
